Kids Club (Parents Night Out)

Our devices ran out of power. I looked around for everybody, but they wouldn't share. Somebody called me a "princess who knows no magic tricks" but then the guy with the 9 on the front of his shirt said Darth Vader pants would "turn the not nice guy into a Chicken." Then Clark made fireballs out of paper (and he colored them) and I played with him.

Tiny Thief Adventure

By Clark

Tiny Thief is going to get the fish. Then he comes back to the pirate ship where he started and puts the fish in a bucket. He puts the bucket on a lever and then a seagull came and ate the fish. Then the lever went up and tiny thief got to the steering wheel he was trying to get to. He was just playing with the steering wheel and making music. He was just dancing with the steering wheel.

Cloudburst Adventure

By Finn

The blue stuff is rain. That word is boom because of the booming sound of the cloudburst. Dad bonked his head because we were hiding under the bridge. Then we ran as fast as we could all the way back home. Then at home I got a bath because we were super cold. We went to the doctor because daddy needed staples in his head, and we were playing screentime.

Glide Bike

Daddy: Tell us about your new Glide bike.

Finn: It's a kickstand bike.

Clark: It doesn't have pedals.

Finn: Use your feet!

Clark: You run, and run, and doodley doo. And you have to wear a helmet that latches onto your head. You have to wear shoes or else your feet will get poked... and you'll have X eyeballs.

Finn: It's really awesome because it's super fun!

Clark: It's very sparkly - and it's the first one I ever had!

Daddy: Hey! Google+ made an autoawesome movie from the pictures and videos I took... with a few other random ones from today thrown in.

UPDATE - Daddy: So... it just looks like an animated gif here... click on my Google+ post to watch the full movie. I also couldn't resist adding these happy pictures to the blog. :)

Recent Adventures

Diving Board Pool

Daddy: We just got back from the pool, and it's time for us to blog about some recent adventures that didn't make it here yet. There's more to catch up on, but this is a start...

Clark in The Sea Training Piranhas.
Finn: We got wet. Then we got dry at home. Then we had some candy and we became candy monsters! Daddy was playing a candy monster game.

Wagon Wheel Canyon Hike

Clark: I wanted to make a house out of the hollow tree I saw. I walked in it.

A Hollow Tree
Finn: There was a bird flying and I wanted to catch it, but it was too fast.

Scratch

Clark: I made blaze go into his rocket ship. My rocket had a tail fin and fire... actually there's dynamite in it and a little thing blowing up dynamite. Then it flies. When he hits the gas pedal a thing goes down and blows up the dynamite.
Where's my Minecraft Ship?
Finn: I got a minecraft guy in Scratch. Then I made him say, "where's my minecraft ship?" We went tooka dun dun ta dun. Then when I tapped on it, it said, "here's my minecraft ship."

Clark: Next time I play scratch I will make an awesome video game.

Next Time

Clark: I want some silly stuff.

Finn: When we open blogger can we do story time?

Daddy: Sure, next time we blog, we can make up a story...

Studying Cacti

Clark's Question: Are cactuses the same as other plants?

Finn: We saw a cactus at the nature center. We saw flowers and green strings.
Clark: The cactus is spiny. This plant has no pricklies and that cactus is prickly. The other plant has flowers and leaves.

Finn: The brain pop video was the silly animal that wanted to eat and drink the water from the cactus.

Clark: The animal wanted to eat the water and when he ran into the cactus then he was crying!

Finn: They are pokey.

Clark: Daddy got poked by a cactus! Because he wasn't careful.

Clark: The ranger said they grow by seed, and they have flowers. You can eat the fruit, and the stems that are very sweet.  Cactuses are the same as other plants because they grow by seeds and have flowers.

Finn: I'm gonna make a brain pop video.

Dad: Oh, I'll bet you guys can make your own brain pop video with ToonTastic

Clark: We can draw flowers on the land in the background!

To be continued?
