Studying Cacti

Clark's Question: Are cactuses the same as other plants?

Finn: We saw a cactus at the nature center. We saw flowers and green strings.

Clark: The cactus is spiny. This plant has no pricklies and that cactus is prickly. The other plant has flowers and leaves.

Finn: The brain pop video was the silly animal that wanted to eat and drink the water from the cactus.

Clark: The animal wanted to eat the water and when he ran into the cactus then he was crying!

Finn: They are pokey.

Clark: Daddy got poked by a cactus! Because he wasn't careful.

Clark: The ranger said they grow by seed, and they have flowers. You can eat the fruit, and the stems that are very sweet.  Cactuses are the same as other plants because they grow by seeds and have flowers.

Finn: I'm gonna make a brain pop video.

Dad: Oh, I'll bet you guys can make your own brain pop video with ToonTastic

Clark: We can draw flowers on the land in the background!

To be continued?
